RX Advertisments....

Whoa! I know it has been far too long since my last post, but no worries I'm back! Well as you can see from the title of this post that I am going to be talking about RX or perscritption drug advertisments. First of all, what it the point in taking them? Do you hear all the side effects and most of the time it's not even limited to those effects. I really doesn't seem worth it. For example...Birth control sure it keeps you from getting preggers, but only like 99% of the time, which is total bull crap..just saying. The side effects, stroke, heart attack, blood clots, nausea...etc..seriously not worth it. You can really take any Rx Ad and figure the same thing, depression, asthma,COPD,ADD, ADHD, Diabetes, RLS(Restless Leg Syndrome), Hair growth, Anxiety, Sleep Aides, Perventative perscriptions, etc. I will admit that SOME people have these and SOME of these are legit Diseases or whatever you would like to call them, but it seems to me that anything these days is consider some type of new disease. About the Ads, they are only shown fo those Hypochondriacs. The watch them and are like oh my gosh I probably have that and then they go to the doctor and ask for the RX. People like me, I watch them and am like just get back to my show thanks! If you are sick or have a problem you would just go to the doctor..right? You don't need someone to put the idea in your head, but I guess that is how they are making all their money. You could even apply this same concept to the T.V. series, House, Greys Anatomy, and E.R. Some could watch it and be like I ave pain there or I feel just like that person and then they go to the hopsital and tell the Doctor exaclty whats wrong and how to fix it. So really If you're a hypochondriac I would stay away from T.V. You are a major target...ok well I think that is all have to say about this...:)

Movies, Memories, and Marissa...

After my last post about Kocoum and Pocohantas. My sister made a comment about Hercules. This made me think about the good old days, well sometimes..We fought alot, but it's whatever. Anyway, my sister, Marissa and I always had a movie obsession, not just movies in general..It was always a particular movie. The three I remember most were Hercules, Drive Me Crazy, and Monsters Inc. Our first phase was Hercules and now I know why..my sister had a crush on him..haha By the way I am pretty sure his picture is an underware ad or something..haha.. At the beggining of the movie when Hercules is a baby and he causes trouble always made us laugh. We seriously probably watched it like twice a day for quite a while. Second phase was the movie "Drive Me Crazy" with Melissa Joan Hart...the girl from Sabrina the Teenage Witch...haha it was always so funny and the whole time you just want them to fall in love and not break up and think that it is extremely weird her mom and his dad get together in the end..like really how does that work? if your kids are together?..hmm...Oh and yes Marissa and I had a crush on the guy, but now I'm not really sure why..haha I know right now that my sister wants to watch it, I sure do! Third phase is "Monsters Inc." We would always sing "put the thing back where it came from or so help me, so help me, so help me and cut.." haha Yes I think we watched this like 700 times. We even watched it on our way to Hawaii when we had like a 3 hour layover in LAX...I also think it is weird that Kaylee looks like Boo, the little girl from monsters...haha. She also says or said "kitty" like Boo does in the movie...Twilgiht Zone..Do,do,do.. ok Well When we weren't watching one of our obsessions we were fighting more than likely...That's just how cool we are! Love her!

Secret Crush...

Ever since I can remember I have had a big, huge crush on...Kocoum. Yes, the native american from Pocohantas, that was suppose to marry her, but that freakin red head shot him! That still angers me..Boo! He is just extremely attractive and has SWEET hair and muscles and skin...haha. I like to call him Mr.Sexy Pants, even though it's more of like a butt flap type, native clothing. I know, I know, it's completely weird to have a crush on not only a fictional character, but a fictional person, but he is so sexy! Which brings me to my next point. Pocohantas seriously must have had a loose screw in her head to pick Jon Smith over Kocoum. Techniacally it is her fault that he got shot. He followed her to protect her after she ran off with Jon Smith. It really serves her right for getting small pox and dying on her way back home from England. She could have lived a long and healthy life if she would have just stuck with Kocoum, instead of going to England with Jon...but anyway. Kocoum is one of my MANY "secret" crushes. Uhh..Love him. Bless his sweet spirit.
P.S.- Yes, I am aware that in one of the pictures Kocoum has some junk..haha..Sorry if you're offended..haha

Gotta Let It Burn...

Yes...Another post about all this Obama drama. I promise not everything will be about him on here, but I just keep finding funny things, that are mostly funny, because they are so true! Ok. I have here a pictue of the Joker from the movie "The Dark Knight" at the part where he burns all that money that he had stolen, just in case you are not aware. The quote which is "Like the Joker, the adminstration likes to watch your money burn" is what makes this so truthfully funny, but kind of makes me so angry and so irratated at the same time. This is exactly how I feel about what is being done with the money, my money, your money. Actually I would rather literally watch my money burn, I wouls rather light it on fire myself. At least it would be interesting to watch and you would know where your money is going; instead of all these taxes and ridiculous reform plans the administration, mainly Obama wants..or having the money that I earn go to people that don't do anything and live off the goverment,I have seen peope buy cigarettes with food stamps..seriously so first I have to pay for your bad habit and then in a few years I will have to pay for your cancer treatment, sounds awesome..NOT! so stupid and incredibly ridiculous, like really they can all shove it, I'll burn my money thanks! Food stamps..they are for FOOD! If you're going to buy cigarettes and slowly kill yourself with our tax money, you shouldn't be on food stamps and starve to death! I really wish people would stop lookig at skin color and think that some how it is going to change our country with it's magic skin color powers. I have vitiligo, so can I be president? I'll be the first vitiligo president and the first one with a uterus, actually I'm not so sure about the whole uterus thing, becuase we all know Obama doesn't have the balls to fix anything except spend money and put us a couple more trillion dollars in debt. Vitiligo is a skin pigment disorder that causes the person to have white patches in various places on the skin, for those of you who didn't know...haha, but really, let's get past all the looks and gender's and the first's of whatever and see what their brain tissue can actually do for this country, but that will require us to first use our brain...haha Good one, I know! Ok, well this was suppose to be about burning money, which is a talent of our new adminstration. Boo! haha ok enjoy and stay tuned..more to come!

President's Day...Really?

Really? Valentine's straight to President's Day! One word..Gay! Yes, I kind of throw that word around like I shouldn't, but whatever. Yes, this is going to be another thing against Obama, just a warning. President's Day, What is the point of it? To give a day to Obama, No thank you! Sure, we have had some amazing an great Presidents, but either they have their own day or they should just get their own. I will not celebrate this for Obama. I do like that there was no school, so I will accept it. Another thing, Obama is only half "black" so really he is as much "black" as he is white...I put the word "black" in quotes because I am positive that he is middle eastern and not African American! There is this picture of him dressed as Osama Bin Laden and they look like twins. If I can find it I will post it. I am convinced that any change that he intends to do to our country is not good. He has already been in office for a year and hasn't done a thing, but put our country further in debt. Which utimately is his plan, that's why he keeps coming up with all these stimulus packages that don't do anything. Ok well I think I better stop now..haha Yes, this is suppose to be funny:) It also fact...just saying:)

My Valentine...

Ok.So Marion Barber, my boyfriend, my valentine...He just might not be aware of this, but whatever. It's beautiful what we have...haha Anyway, I just thought you all should know that we are getting married. Seriously. Yes, It might be true he is not aware of this fact either, but it will be wonderful. Yes, It might be true if I got close enough to him I would probably get arrested, but not really cuz he loves me. I should probably change this blog to Desiree Sarah Barber or Desiree and Marion Barber...something along those lines.
Ok so really my Valentines day was lame, as expected! Except my friend Ryan Miner also known as Peach had his homecoming today, He got home on friday from his mission to Chile, it was fun to see him. Except last time he saw me I had blonde hair and he didn't recognize me at first..it was pretty funny! I also got to spend Valentines with Miss Jacqueline and that was fun. We just talked about how we love boys that don't love us back..haha sad, but true. Valentine's Day is highly over-rated. I will think this until I actually have a valentine that is aware of our togetherness..haha soooo...Probably forever will Valentine's Day be lame...OK I'm done:) for now.

Valentine's Day or an Obligation?...

The few days before Valentine's Day, especially the day before is enough to make me gag! haha...Every show on T.V. is based on it. All you see is cute couples doing cute things and being all cute and in love..Boo! Of course there is always the story line of that one person, usually a girl who doesn't have a Valentine...Welcome to my life! haha...I am pretty positive the reason for Valentine's Day or also commonly known as "Single-Awareness" Day..is just for that, to make sure that everyone who doesn't have someone knows it. It's like losing a game and getting it rubbed in your face. I also hate that when you go to the store and it's all Valentines..stuff...And I think in my head "Sweet, won't be getting of that." or something along thse lines...If you think about it, like I do, Valentines Day is kind of worthless, even if you do have someone and here is why. You're significant other is only getting you something or taking you on a date because of the fact that it is Valentines day. I think that it would be so much more romantic or cute or sweet if they just brought you flowers out of no where or a suprise date out of no where..right? Valentine's basically just holding you to making sure you do something nice, when really you should be anyway...It's more of an Obligation, as I see it. haha...Not only is it an obligation for those of you attached, but also can bring alot of disappointment, getting all those high hopes for what the day is going to bring..Ya know?..Well I guess thats all I have to say about this holiday. :).. Pedicures on our toes, toes...

Yesterday, I went with my friend Casey to get pedicures. Yes, it was lovely. Yes, I have a friend...haha That's like a total of two now! Whoop Whoop!! I am so so so super sad that she leaves for basic training for the Air Force on March 30th! Boo! 8 1/2 weeks without communication, well beside letters. Anyway, back to our pedicures. I felt pretty bad for the guy that had to do mine. My legs were pretty prickly; I'm suprised his hands weren't bleeding at the end...Seriously. I'm pretty sure he had all of his fingers. Oh well, nothing a $2 tip can't replace. Right? So...next point. You know that song "Tik Tok" by Ke$ha or whatever that chicks name is. Well My cute little Mini's that I coach that are 6 and 7 years old know that ENTIRE song including the part where it says "Everybody's gettin crunk, crunk. Boy's try and touch my junk, junk. Slap 'em if they get too drunk, drunk" haha .Yeah, it's hilarious!

Respect for the Escalade...

Driving to school this morning, I noticed something. I respect Escalades when I see them driving. This isn't the first time I have noticed this, but the first time I actually thought about what I was doing. An Escalade is my dream car, so when I see them driving I stop to let them turn, like this morning, but I will cut everyone else off. I even like salute them...haha I'm sure I am just being extreme, but whatever. Think of your favorite car. A car you would love to have. When you see them driving you respect them right? You let them go ahead of you. You don't get mad if they cut you off. You just want to be in that car. Deny it all you want..haha I know the truth. Ok well, that's all. Just something to think about next time you are driving and you see your dream car.

Super Bowl!!

Holy cow! I am so glad that the Saints won yesterday, even though I hate Jeremy Shockey with a passion...He is still a Giant to me. It was such a good game. Many times I was a little worried for the Saints, but they definitely pulled through. I ended up just going to my friend Jacqueline's apartment, it was fun. I am pretty sure I ate more than anyone should, not to mention they were all carbs, except for the 50 piece chicken nugget Jacquline and I got!! Seriously 50!! Yes, we ate them all!! Delicious! I thought it was so cute at the end when they showed Drew Brees, the quarterback for the Saints with his little baby son! So precious, with the tears and all. I would also like to point out that the Cowboys beat the Saints when they were undefeated this season, just saying. The Cowboys also beat the Colts, when they went undefeated the same season the Colts won the Super Bowl, also just saying.
Even though I love the Super Bowl, I hate that it means football season is over. What am I suppose to do on Sundays now? Boo! Oh well...Bring on baseball season. It is so close, but so far away...hmm...What to do? What to do?

In the past year you have taken away my favorite actor, Patrick Swayze. My favorite actress, Farah Fawcett. My favorite musician, Michael Jackson. My favorite athlete, Chris Henry. My favorite saleman, Billy Mays. I just want you to know that my favorite President it Barrack Obama.

When I first heard this prayer I laughed for quite a while, but really though my favorite musician was Michael Jackson! Well, I just wanted to share this. I liked it and thought a few others might as well...If you don't like it, or like Obama...then...Oh well..haha:)

My First Post...

I can't believe I actually have a blog. I never thought I would get one until I was married or something...seeing as I am single, that probably won't be for a long time! I would like to thank my sister, Marissa for talking my into getting this blog. I don't really know what to post about since I don't really have friends or a husband...haha. As a warning this will probably be a lame blog. You have been warned!!
Ok, well I guess I could just tell about myself even though if you visit my blog you probably know all about me. I'll make it interesting. Maybe.
My name is Desiree Sarah Stephens. I'm 19 years old. When I was 8 years old I changed my name from Sarah to Desiree. My mom had me in 12 minutes, impressive right? I was born and raised in Utah. Boo! It's definitely getting old. I have one older sister, by 5 years, Marissa. She is married and has a cute little baby girl, my niece, Kaylee. My sister and I never got along utill she basically moved away to college...haha. Sad, I know. My sister moved to North Carolina so her husband Cody can go to Duke University. Luckily, it's only for 2 years. Back to me, I don't get along with girls, at all. I hate drama. I love boys...Especially in uniform! I did cheerleading in Jr. High and High School. I have Vitiligo, it's a skin pigment disorder. It use to make me self consious, but I love it now. I Pop all my joints more than I should, but it's so lovely. I go to the University of Utah and I am going to to Nursing. I use to have bleach blonde hair and now it's black. "Once you go black, you never go back." haha. I have a big huge crush on Marion Barber III. He's beautiful. I hate dieting, so I don't. I love summer. I'm shy, but once you know me I'm not. I don't really do my hair anymore. I don't brush it that much either, judge me, I don't care. I love football and baseball. I wish I could be a boxer, like the fighter, not the dog..haha. I really like dancing alot, especially hip-hop. I have flat feet. I've considered joining the military. I'm kinda weird, but it's whatever. I will own an Escalade one day. I like rap way too much. I like Lord of the Rings more than a girl should probably. Valentine's Day makes me sick, even though my mom does good at being my Valentine! Bless her. I have worn a CTR non-stop for the last 2 1/2 years. I was doing it for someone else at first, but now it's all for me. I'm not very good at sharing, I don't like to do it at all. I love cartoons, sometimes I wish I were a Power Ranger. My sister always told me that one day I would grow out of them..haha Wrong! I definitely have my own opinions. I don't like Obama, at all. Well...I don't really know what else to say..hmm...
