Some girls...

As you may or may not know, I am attending the University of Utah. I am there Monday-Friday, but Monday, Wednesday, Friday I have a 7:00 am class. I have to leave at about 6:20 to get there on time. With traffic all the stop lights and finding parking and the 7 minute walk to class. Well, I get up at 6 so as you can imagine I look glamerous...Not, but I really don't care, but I see girls in the morning at 6:45 in the morning! With full out curly hair, skinny skirts and like the 10 inch high heels. Really? You really wear that to a big huge campus? How early do they get up? I'm sure they start the night before..or the week before. Not to mention the move about an inch an hour becuase of their heels and I comfortable pass them in my glorious outfits of either sweats or jeans, but mostly always tennis shoes. So really they probably don't have class untill ten, but have to get to school before 7 cuz it will take them 3 hours to walk to class. Really? You're not impressing anyone. I mean I'm not either, but I'm also not trying to. Whatever.

Letter #3...

I'm not exactly sure how to start this post out, obviously..like this. I got my third letter from a missionay that I met while I was in Australia. I guess I should probably explain the story. Also note, He is just a missionay that I'm writing and that is it. I've learned my lesson about waiting for them. Never again. So yeah, just friends. Are we clear? Good. While I was at the Shopping center (Mall) but I got made fun of at the dinner table for calling it a mall. Anyway, while I was there, waiting for some of the flanagans to meet me for lunch. I was just roaming by myself, I see two guys in suits..They were kinda far away and coming out of Kmart, So apparently I looked at them funny, but it was just to see if they were missionaries and they were but they were on the opposite side of the walking way thing and going the opposite way as me so I was like well that's cool I at least saw some missionaries even though I didn't get to talk to them..So I stopped in a store but quickly found that is boring so I headed for the escalders and right as i turn the corner to get on they turn the other corner and get on it..it was way awkward...Finally I got up the courage and said you guys are missianaries..right? They were like yeah we are and shook my hand and stuff and asked if I had heard about the church and I said yeah actually I'm a member from Salt Lake City, Utah. They had picked up the Aussie accent so I wasn't sure where they were from, but the surprised look on their face i though was either cuz they thought it was awesome to meet someone from mormonville, USA or they were from there and sure enough they were both from Utah. one from lehi the other from alpine. Anyway We talked for a while and all that Oh then they asked me for my address so that they could write me. Of course I gave it too them you can't turn down the cute little Aussie Accent. The day I got home my mom handed me a letter from one of them and she asked how it happened. I told her the whole story that i just told you and my mom laughed and said "Only you Desi!" haha Anyway So we are now on letter three from one of them and he asked me what my favorite BOM stroy was and that is Book of Mormon, just so ya know and I drew a blank, but My mama reminded me of the living scriptures that she bought for me when I was little and I remembered that my most favortie one that I watch all the time was Alma the younger, I think it was cuz how they made him look in the animation I thought he was cute..haha.. Don't judge me. Any other suggestions? Hmm...

The gas is on the right..

On my way to school this morning, I-15 south. It was past the time of the morning rush, just so ya'll are aware or even on the days that I have to leave early, early. It before the morning rush. Anyway..people seriously go like 50 and there is no reason to. The posted speed limit is 65. You can at least go 65. If you're not going to go at least the speed limit on the freeway at anytime of the day even when there is only like 7 cars on the entire freeway you probably shouldn't drive on the freeway ever....back roads are made for you! you can go 25, perfect for them slow pokes. It's just really irritating, I don't want to have to leave earlier than I already have to because of the slowness of some people...The gas is on the right, no need for the break on the freeway. Seriously some peoples driving makes me want to kick puppies and believe me I love puppies!! Ok. Well that's all, don't drive slow and I might not hate you. xx:)
