Big Sister's Birthday!

Today. July 24, 2010. Is my big sister's birthday. She is 25...I think that 25 is still young enough that she won't get mad at me for telling everyone that. hmm... I guess we shall find out. Well, since I can't take you back to the day she was born, cause...hello, she is older than me. I can take you back to the day I was brought home from the hospital and ruined her only child spoildness days! Sorry Marissa! These days, everyone mistakes us for twins. They saw we're "identical", but clearly they don't know the definition of identical. Then we tell them we are sisters that are 5 years apart, if you want to get technical is 4 years and 11 months, but whatever. Then they try to guess who is older and they usually went with me, but a couple times they pick her becuase she is taller..haha. We have some pretty good stories about these experiences. Well I just wanted to wish my sister a HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! I'm the luckiest sister ever to have a sister like her, seriouly! Everyone should be jealous! I have always wanted to be like her, you can even ask her yourself. I've follwed her around trying to be like her since I could walk. Ok. Happy birthday, I hope it's wonderful a wonderful as if you were in Utah:) Love you! xxxxxx

Love,
Little sister

Scarnon? I'm back from the Outback!

I'm back from my first experience in Australia. I must say that it was definitely a trip of a lifetime. That country knows whats up and I'm in love with it. Seriously! So ya'll saw my adventure over to Australia, but know for the good part of the adventure:)Well when I first got there I had to get use to all the kissing for their greeting stuff, don't get me wrong I loved it...usually..haha despite a few awkward moments and probably being taken as a rude american. Which is fair. Americans are rude. Especially compared to Aussies, it's ridiculous. I also had to get use to the jet lag, which now I am stuck on Australian time thats why it's so late and I'm blogging. I'm WIDE awake! The first night I was their I met Corey's family and they are all so wonderful. I just love their faces. I also met his friend Brad and his other friend or should I be saying mate? Sean. Corey, Sean and I went to the "shop" or as americans call it the grocery store and it being winter over there everyone thought I was crazy for wearing shorts, but it really wasn't that cold. No worries. Apparently it was a bad idea cuz they almost got Sean and Corey into a fight. Whoops. After getting juice and "lolli's" which we call candy we went back to coreys. The next day Corey had to work all day but that actually turned out alright cuz I was sooooo jet lagged so I just kicked it and took a shower that night I went and watch corey play soccer and can I tell you this kid has got some skill! I also met some of his friends and they loved my accent..which is still weird to me. That weekend we went to the pool room and a pub and those were very entertaining places..way different than the ones around here... Also one day while Corey was at work I went to lunch with his sister, Chelsey and his mom or mum and dad and Chelsey's friend. We went to this place called Hogsbreath. They picked it becuase it was suppose to be really american. It was quite delicious. After lunch Chelsey and her friend and I went to Toy Story in 3D it was so cute! Even though movies over there are like $20...haha Later in the week Corey and I went to the city. This city has amazing architecture. It is rad! At night it is freakin cool. I will post pictures, no worries. While in the city we went and visited Corey's dad, Rod at work. That was pretty cool. After that we went to this place called Crown. It has shopping and a casino and all sorts of fun things that you don't find in utah. haha. To get to the city you have to take a train thing...Well you don't have to, but it was more fun.I'm all about fun. Oh yeah, I called the shopping center a mall and they all just stared at me. It was so funny. That happened quite a bit acctually. I also did it to them...it's so crazy how different things are outside of your own country and Utah in General. Utah should just be it's own country. Anyway back to the trip. While at the...shopping center, I met some missionaries. They thought it was sweet to meet someone from Salt Lake City. They were both from Utah as well. I also have figured out that Aussies love to put stuff in between bread. such as potato chips, french fries, cheese, spagetti...etc. Autralia also ha every show america does, but in their version...some of them were pretty cool and others were slightly cheesy like their "Deal or No Deal" haha. Also while I was there they got a new Prime Minister who is a female and a ranga..Aussie for a red head....haha. after kickin it Aussie Corey and his friend Sean planned a Hunting/camping trip.. I love camping! Everyone who heard we were going would ask if I even wanted to go haha...So the camping trip was Corey, Sean, and Seans younger brothers Cory and Riess. We went hunting on this guy named Jimmy's farm. It's HUGE!! I have picturs of that too. No worries! The first night we went spotlighting. All the boys would hang out of the car with guns and shot at anything that moved...very entertaining. The next day we got up early and hiked about 288573640687636475838405867 miles or should I say meters. Australia is the meteric system just like everyone else, but the US...haha and It was all foggy and cool. Then they shot at some animals and I got to skin them. It was about the coolest thing ever!! We also pushed huge rocks down the really steep hill and made loud gun shot crashing sounds. They also allowed me to carry the bag that holds their extra bullets and the meat that we cut off the animals. I must say I kept up with them boys very well. Just saying. Before heading back to the camping place they let me shoot their guns. which I hit the target with :)but I still got made fun of. Riess' 30-06 was freakin loud. I'm pretty sure it basically broke Cory's ear while doing the second spotlight haha...Later I also go to shoot a shot gun which was sooooo powerful..haha it knocked me backwards. the last night at jimmy's we got to chill in his bar area that he made himself it was sweet. and he loved me...He made me get picturs with him with his cowboy hat on...haha he even made up a poem about a native american...it was crazy. Oh yeah and during this trip I watched Corey play Angry Birds every day and every night...haha Aussie boys nd Aussie's in general are so nice. They are all there to help out and they always made sure I was ok and it was just so precious. Anyway So after the tip had one day left in Australia then I went home. After stuffing all the crap I bought in my suit case I had to go home. Sad day. Melbourne to Sydney was easy, bu when I got to Sydneythey told me that I didn't make the fight and all the seats were full, but at the last second they said that they had one open up and to take it. I sat next to two Aussis's Tass and Con They were soooo super nice and hilarious! the 15 hour flgiht flew by pretty fast being able to talk to them. I left on the morning of the 7th and arrived in Cali the morning of the 7th how weird is that? Crazy I know. Well this is just the over all trip in a nut shell as I think of more things to be detailed on or get reminded of there will be more up dates. I know I forgot alot!
