My best friends Jacqueline and I decided that we wanted to go camping at Crystal Hot Springs. In my opinion, it's still pretty legit camping...it's not like deep in the wilderness or anything, but you still don't have like bathrooms or anything...just saying. I will also add that Jacqueline and I are pretty good campers and even better fire starters. Believe it people! Anyway... Yes, we invited people to go, but no one could and or no one wanted too, weird. It was just Jac and I. We get to our camp site probably around 8:30 pm and we see rain clouds so we are trying to set up our tent and start the fire as fast as possible. This tent that we have is borrowed and way weird..We think it may have been from Wal-mart, but we're not judging or anything. Then we started a fire, which from past experience was not as hard... but then again last time the other people wouldn't let me or Jac help. As wel finally get settled into our chairs ready to make some s'mores and hotdogs it begins to sprinkle, then rain..then it would stop. then start. then stop. The whole time we were of course be sarcastic..haha Which reminds me. on the way up to Crystal we passed a billboard that had diamond rings on it and at the exact same time Jacqueline and I said "Cool, I'll never get one of those." haha so funny and so sarcastic. ok, so back to the trip after a while we're like lets go get in the tent so we did and yes we attempted to put out the fire. So we're in the tent just having some girl talk and laughing and just being us. The next thing you know we're both out! Only to be woken up at like 3 in the morning to a train. The light shown threw our tent and the ground was shaking an the horn/whistle thing was louder than anything! We sat up and both said "Holy ...." haha We Really thought that we had set our tent up ON the train tracks! it was seriously so scary!! We open our tent and we are probably 10 yards from the trin tracks that ae totally hidden by trees and stuff..oh and don't worry it happened like 4 more times, but we at least knew we weren't going to get runover. so the next morning we wake up to ducks attacking our tent and our fire still going..don't worry it's smal and it's in a pit so its pretty safe so we decided to make more food before hitting up the springs...of course. When we go to the spring the guy gave us free slide passes and let me tell you that slide is fun as hell! even though the first time you think you might freeze to death because it is so cold...so after a fun filled day of laying out and swimming we decide to stay another night, but due to people backing out and not comig up for the second night we took down the tent set it back up and took it down again to go home, but not to worry we got to Jacquelines at 1030pm and watched Harry Potter. This was seriouslyone of the most fun camping trips yet, but it's always fun :)Hope you enjoy the pictures of how close we were to the train and ducks and the pretty sun set!
