Be legal, learn English, Stop complaining...

Ok. Where to begin? Well, we all know about that huge Arizona Immigration Law. Well, this post isn't really about that subject in particular, but more of the same topic I would say. I don't really understand how people think tha it is racial profiling if a person really is here illegally. Not to mention it is ridiculous that when they come here illegally they expect everything to come in spanish and expect the same benefits as legal citizens and then they complain about it. If you don't like it, then by all means you can leave. No one made you come here and no one will make you stay. Just come here legally, learn English...Basics that's it. If they want to not have such a rep. for being racially profiled then don't come here and live off of our goverment and tax payers. We don't like you because we don't really want to pay for you. Since our president is push over I know there really won't be anything done...Oh wait he may make it easier for them to get here and make it easier to live on welfare and the new healthcare reform, he probably is sending invitations. Anyway Here are some facts given by the L.A. Times then you tell me why we legal Americans might be slightly upset.

1. 40% of workers in L.A. County are working for cash and not paying taxes. This is because they are predominantly illegal immigrats who are working without a green card.
2. 95% of warrants in Los Angeles are for illegal aliens.
3. 75% of the people on L.A.'s most wanted list are illegal aliens.
4. Nearly 35% of all inmates in California's Detention Centers are Mexican Nationals here illegally.
5. Nearly 60% of all occupants of HUD properties are illegal.
6. 21 radio stations in L.A. are spanish speaking.

Those are just a few facts from the L.A. Times, but here are some other interesting facts not from the L.A. Times.

Less than 2% of illegal aliens are picking our crops. 29% are on Welfare. Over 70% of the United States Annual Population growth and over 90% of California, Florida and New York results from immigration. 29% of inmates in federal prisons are illegal aliens.

See how much money hard working Americans are forking over, I think we have plenty of reason to be a little made/furious. It's hard to get along and like something or someone that takes advantage of you. Well I better continue this later. There is more to come.

My Mommy Dearest...

This post is basically here to wish my cute little mommy dearest a Happy Mothers Day! She is the best mom in the entire world, seriously. She says her favorite job is working at Frontier, but really I know it's being a mom to me, ok and my sister. Even if I'm a little shit sometimes...I might get in trouble for saying that, but I don't know. hmm... Well I guess I should tell you why my mom is the best mom. She is probably the most dedicated mom, EVER. She would spend alot of money, I mean alot here people on mine and my sister's dance lessons. Ummm...She made me match everyday...like MATCH. This is a whole new level of matching, but apparently it was cute...haha. My mom also thinks I'm funny, she has been laughing at me and my jokes since I can remember..which is a long time by the way. She ran 6 miles on the day I was born as well as my sister's day of birth. Yeah..true story. She is a record holder for winning the Deseret News Marathon the most times and she made it to the Olympic Trials, twice. How cool is my mom....pretty damn cool I would say. Anyone who knows here would probably say running is a great past time for her, because she is always on the go and always wanting to do something and she always wants to go fast...haha. My mom is always on the go like it's nobody's business!! Speaking of running marathons..I am pretty sure my mom started training me for them when I was like 3 years old. Have you ever tried to follow this woman around the mall or anywhere? she is fast..I would basically be running as fast as my little feet could carry me. One time plus like 274 more times I have been walking around the mall with my mom...I mean running, her walking and she carries all her shopping bags in one hand and the other arm is like her motor she swings that thing like something fierce! and if you walk to close to her she will swing/slam it right into your crotch...she doesn't mean to..it just happens and it doesn't feel good..haha My mom can also do a head stand. on hard wood floor. I like to think that I take after my mom in personality...We both do random things and think that the same things are funny...We both can be immature and ...yeah...Like when I was little like 5-8 years I would say my mom use to get me out of the bath tub and wrap me in a towel and then pick me up and would swing my in the air and flash my bum to the mirror, funny! haha... My mom is also the best cuz she likes to make me look good or cool I should say...Even if she says that i can't dress ugly and look ugly at the airport cuz all of her co-workers are there. haha. My mommy is just a strong person physically and mentally. I like to think I take after her in that as well even if the mentally part is because she always told me to suck it up...haha and I do that is probably why i don't like girl they cry about everthing..haha. Especially in cheerleading. My mom also loves it when I call her mommy dearest, after that movie. Which I don't know if that is a good or bad thing cuz she use to come out of my closet with a wire hanger and be like "NO MORE wire hangers!" haha Anyway..Ya'll should know that my mom is the best of the best and I love her very much and I am so glad she is my mom and I am glad I only have to share her with one sibling.....aaaand a niece. :) Love you Mommy!

Up-Dates...

Wow...It's kinda been a while since I have actually blogged about whats going on, beside my little stories here and there. Weel, here is a little update so that you are up to date on what has been going on in the last few weeks...
hmm..Where to start? Aw..How about from my first Las Vegas lunch date with my mommy dearest and her co-workers/friends? Ok. Cool. So After that little adventure, I ended up going right back to Vegas for Cheer Comp. It was so fun. I got to stay in the stratosphere with all them and the coaches. Yes. I went by myself. I culdn't go down with everyone else because I couldn't get work off, but I made it. My Native instincts must have kicked in to navigate me...haha, but seriously. They did. After that my cute little niece, Kaylee turned 2 years old. I just can't even believe it! I love that we, as in my mom, my sister and me still call Kaylee "the baby" Oh so precious! Happy Birthday Kaysie-Daysie..Yes I did make that name up, but I have come to find out a few other peole have copied it...and then after that as You saw I went to a baseball game..The Marlins vs. Rockies and I had a little too much fun playing the moving sidewalks. In between all of these events I got a job at Chili's. Yes, I know..now all of you want to be my friend for the awesome discount...haha I finshed my first semester at the U. Wrote a 12 page paper for english that about kicked my butt...Got a gym pass...It awesome I love the gym now. Maybe I should just marry the gym...It's always there for me..haha umm I commendeered a ship, got a crew in Tortuga, Raid, pilvaged, plunderd. Watched Ninja Assassin and now I want to be a Ninja Assassin. just so i can say assassin...I have also watched Sweeny Todd like 5 times. Skyped with Australian Friends. I also now wish I had and Australian accent. I have also told my mom about my how weird I am in the shower. Still hate Obama. I've stayed single...haha..Whats new?..I have listen to boys tell me how they are going to be proposing to their girlfriends. I have acted happy for them..haha. I have planned my marriage to Marion Barber like 3 times maybe plus 100, but who is counting. Shook my butt in a hand stand. shook my butt in general. hmmm Well that is about all that has been going on in my life the last few weeks...

Marlins Vs.Rockies...

So yesterday I went to Colorado to watch a Rockies game. They played...the Florida Marlins. Who else right? It was pretty cool to be about the only three Marlins fans in the whole stadium. It was even cooler that we got bomb seats, seriously. Anyway, The game we went to the the Marlins didn't win, but it was still fun. When we went back to the airport we had to drop off our rental car first and can I just say that was an adventure, especially when my mom tried to go around the wrong side of a median and we almost hit a pole after skidding to a stop. Well...Desiree being Desiree laughed, my mom blamed my dad and I for not telling her that it was the wrong way and my dad just got mad....haha Alright then as we were pulling into the car place you can go to the right, but there is a huge sign that says DO NOT ENTER-BUSES ONLY and where does my mom go...right of course. So I yell wrong way! and my mom SLAMS on the breaks and asks me how I know and if I was sure and I was like well that sign says that you can't go this way..anyway so we got through the right way only for my mom to flip a bi... to go get gas.Alright so we are at this light wanting to go straight, bu we are in the left turning lane , but just so you know this intersetion is a "T" and we are the top part of it so to go straight it's green but to go left it's red and then on the other part of the T there are people waiting to turn left so my mom is wantig to go staight and i was like well then go it's green for going striaght and she was like no I'm scared and then I was like oh s you wanna go when all those people ca turn into us and then she laughs and is like well alright....ok, ok...So we FINALLY get to the Denver airport and going through security we all still have our jersey's on and the TSA agent is like Ya'll are from Utah and you came to Colorado for a Seattle game and I was like No...We're form Utah and we came to Colorado for a Florida game and then he stopped talking..haha SooooooYou know those moving walk ways, well I was bored so I kinda playe around on them for a second and my mom was laughin so hard she almsot pee'd her pants..seriously..ok well I think that is about all the major story...hmmm Yeah....

Down Under...

I bet you think that this post is going to be about Kangaroo's or something. Well, you're right. Nah..I'm totally kidding it's about my cute my Australian friend, Corey. I don't really know what I am suppose to be writing, but promised I would post something about him. Ummm...He has a sweeeeeeeeeeeeeet accent, like probably the coolest one ever. They say I have an accent, but that is ridiculous. When I say they I mean Corey and his brother Brody...haha Ummm right now he is sitting with his friend Sean..He made pancakes...Ohh yeah and Corey and Brody taught me how to say "Party" with their accent, but it is way more entertaining to hear them say it with an american accent. Umm... Corey is black sometimes...hahaha

Lunch in Las Vegas? Yes, Please!

So..Monday, just a normal day. Woke up for school, went to psychology, came home and saw my mom all dressed and ready for the day, remember it's only like 9am and she works late! Anyway, so she was all dressed and ready to go somewhere and I was like "Where are you going?" she replys "Lunch..in Vegas" haha and then she of course invited me to go! I of course said yes! We got ready and headed to the airport. When we were finally on the plane we got pushed backed and then pulled back up to the gate due to a mechanical problem, but no worries it was fixed in no time and we were on our way! Woo Vegas! Yes I said that like Alan from The Hangover, love that movie! That movie by the way makes you enjoy Las Vegas even more. Everywhere I went I was like this is were they said this and thats where they did that. It was awesome! "Is this the real Cesears Palace?" Alan. When We finally got there we took this bus thing to the Venetion, where my mom's co-workers were staying so that we could meet up for lunch. These two ladies are freakin funny by the way. I don't think I stopped laughing once! after we went to lunch at Margaritville, no worries we didn't drink. We just got freakin huge Volcano Nachos! Yum! Ok. Yeah...So after we just walked the strip a little bit until it was time for my mother dearest and I to catch our flight home..It was s hard to say goodbye! I love Vegas...I really didn't want to leave! Anyway that was my wonderful, fun-filled, short, lunch date in vegas:)

I'm just a truck kind of girl. I love it. It's A white Chevy Colorado and it's wonderful. It finally got it's window fixed so it looks as good as new! Woo! Today my friend Jacqueline and I took our bikes to the Legacy highway bike trail! In my truck of course! It was so fun...and it was wonderful to not have to worry about getting hit by a car...haha..I can recall many times that a bus or something got extremely close to us...haha Anyway I highly recommend taking a walk or run or bike ride down there it is pretty relaxing. I know i am going to be doing alot more of it. Yes. I still hate Obama.
